I recently got frustrated trying to get Kenneth to talk when I had the video camera out. Digital video tapes are expensive and I was spending a lot of time running around after him using up footage and still not getting what I wanted. He's cooperative about action shots, as you can see from the movies, but he loves the video camera and he loves watching videos of himself, so, every time I pull out the camera we get into a struggle because he wants to, "Watch Kennef!" So I ran down to Radio Shack and bought a little hand held tape recorder, and I've had much better luck. As soon as I sat down at my desk to begin transferring all the sound clips into digital format, I hit the play button and I could not believe what I was hearing. It reminded me so much of a tape that my mother made of me talking to her when I was 2. I dug around and found a copy of it and here are two sound clips for you to compare.
